South Carolina Food Festivals & Events

We admit it. We love our South Carolina food festivals. Maybe that’s why every year we host more than 425 festivals across the state, from the indulgent Charleston wine and food festival to the mouthwatering Pageland Watermelon Festival. That means there are more South Carolina food festivals than there are days in the year – and we’ve got a good excuse for every one of them! They’re a great way to enjoy the authentic sights, sounds, flavors and fun that make our state such a wonderful place to live and visit.

In South Carolina, we celebrate South Carolina cuisine year round! That includes fruits, vegetables and meats! From collards in the winter to peaches in the summer. Strawberry festivals abound in the spring and barbecue festivals in the fall. Our food festivals range from Greenville’s euphoria food and wine festival and McClellanville’s Lowcountry Shrimp Festival to Gaston’s Collard Festival and the small town of Salley's Chitlin Strut. No matter what time of year you visit, you'll find a South Carolina food festival.
