The town of McCormick was built on top of a gold mine and the area is rich in natural beauty, with three state parks and miles of Thurmond Lake shoreline. This event is the celebration of the history of McCormick with a parade, food, a large car show, arts and crafts vendors along with rides and live entertainment to be enjoyed by all.

This year there will be a Children's Home BBQ Beach Party for Friday evening and all day Saturday. It's a family event enjoyed by all.
