Put aside everything else on Saturday, Feb. 25th (6-9pm) and make sure you are in the audience at the Dane Theater for the 3rd Julius Daniels Memorial Blues Festival, featuring Juke Joint Johnny and Elliott and the Untouchables. Juke Joint Johnny is the harmonica player who played with Beverly "Guitar" Watkins at the 2010 JDMBF and at the 2011 Dogwood Festival. The Untouchables serve up thick guitar tones, a smokin' horn section, and sizzlin' keys on top of a red-hot rhythm section. Tickets are $10 balcony, $15 first floor (except first 5 rows which are reserved for sponsors; $50 per seat, contact Nancy Foster 803-245-1000 to be a sponsor).

The purpose of the JDMBF is to raise the funds needed to establish a Bamberg County Museum and bring great live music to the people of Bamberg County, while honoring Denmark’s own blues legend, Julius Daniels.
