Hard Rock Park
Myrtle Beach is the site of the world’s first Hard Rock Park, a 140-acre, music-themed amusement park affiliated with Hard Rock Cafe. The $400 million project will have more than 40 attractions, a multipurpose live music amphitheater with state-of-the-art sound, roller coasters, children’s play areas, restaurants, cafes and retail stores.
From now until May 9, the park will go through a "soft opening," meaning not all of the shows or rides are guaranteed to be running at all times. During this period, daily admission will be $40.
The park will be open most days from 4 to 10 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on April 26 and 27, and May 3 and 4.
