Denver Downs was started as a cotton farm shortly after the Civil War and has been family operated since 1872. The farm produces beef cattle, wheat, oats, straw, corn, soybeans and hay and offers a roadside farmers market to purchase goodies. Fall is busy with visitors delighted by Denver Downs’ corn maze and pumpkin patch tours as well as sheep, goats, cows, chickens, and other animals that live on the farm. This year's corn maze highlight's a long-standing South Carolina tradition - the football rivalry between Clemson and Carolina. The maze is a tribute to the leadership that Coach Dabo Sweeney and Coach Steve Spurrier have brought to the "Battle of the Palmetto State" tradition. Getting lost here will be lots of fun for Clemson and Carolina fans. Bring your game to the corn field before the two teams battle it out on the football field. The corn maze opens Sept. 27!
