Historic Pendleton Spring Jubilee

The Village Green Downtown Pendleton

Description

HISTORIC PENDLETON SPRING JUBILEE began in 1978 as a means to inaugurate tourism in Anderson, Oconee and Pickens Counties. This fine arts festival has become so much more – a rite of spring, award-winning event, premier festival of the upstate and a source of pride in the community. One hundred fine artists exhibit and sell their unique creations to visitors during the festival. Some of the artists come from as far as California, while others are locals. Live entertainment fills the air with bluegrass, folk, Celtic, gospel, and all the best music genres! Due to the festival’s reputation for consistency and quality, thousands of people pour into historic Pendleton the first full weekend in April. Taste some of the best festival food around at Spring Jubilee! Bring your friends & family to "shop until you drop." Enjoy historic tours of Ashtabula & Woodburn plantation homes, or visit the many antique stores in downtown Pendleton. Spring Jubilee is FREE to the public! The Clemson Area Transit (CATbus) provides FREE public transportation to and from the Festival grounds. You don't want to miss the 36th Annual Historic Pendleton Spring Jubilee on April 6-7, 2013! Bring you family and friends to small-town USA for a weekend that you'll never forget!
