The Bean Market is a single story masonry structure built by the PWA (Public Works Administration) in 1936. The market became the largest truck auction bean market in the world. The building serves as a community gathering site which offers frequent programs in arts, history, and agriculture. The Bean Market Complex is also available for events and rentals. This building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Jones and Carter Gallery (a former seed and fertilizer store) is a single-story masonry structure that houses art events and traveling exhibits of artwork.
