The Fort Mill Welcome Center is strategically located at I-77 Southbound. This Welcome Center offers many great services including: travel information; brochures on exciting destinations in South Carolina; AT&T International language services; accommodations information for all parts of South Carolina; current weather and traffic information; travel itinerary planning; information on our beautiful State Parks; lodging and theater reservations; mapping and routing information; discount coupons to some of our most inviting attractions; and golf course tee times.
And all services are free!
Our November theme of the month, “Come Home to South Carolina,” is just one more reason to visit our center. The first South Carolina welcome center opened in 1968 on Hwy 17 in Little River and we have been smiling ever since.
What does “coming home” mean to you? Whether it’s a family reunion, visiting the relatives, or that special holiday trip to a favorite South Carolina site, you’ll always feel right at home here. From waterfalls framed in fall color to picking your own apples fresh from an orchard tree, adventures come alive in South Carolina! We also have special packets of information just waiting for you that include coupons and lists of the many low-cost and even free things to do across the state.
Several SC State Parks have ‘hot deals’ to take advantage of too, such as the Devils Fork specials going on right now..
