Halloween's not over - at least at Poinsett State Park! We're continuing the fun through the weekend, so grab your tent, RV, or even reserve a cabin for this weekend of fun.
Friday - 5:30pm Cold Blooded Creatures - no, we won't have any vampires to show, but we will have some snakes and toads. We'll take a closer look at these "cool critters." Bring hand sanitizer and a camera for a keepsake memory.
7pm - Night hike - We'll journey into the forest at night and play "mustache roulette", smell for spiders, see like dogs, and more. We'll meet in the field in the campground. Bring your flashlight.
4pm - Haunted Hunt - The Halloween Hare has hidden spooky eggs around our forest and we need help finding them. Meet us in the shelter across from the park office. For ages 10 and under.
6:30pm - Trick-or-treat! That's right, grab your pumpkin or sack and join us in the campground. Don't forget to wear your costume and bring a flashlight.
8pm - Bonfire - Join us around the firering in the campground field. We'll share stories, jokes, [your candy!], have s'mores, and maybe even see a "creepy critter."
So come out to Poinsett for a great weekend of fun!
