4-H2O Camp at Lee State Park! is a partnership between Lee County 4-H and Lee State Park that provides youth with hands-on activities that will teach them about the importance of protecting our water quality. At this camp, we will learn how to test abiotic and biotic factors of water quality like pH, temperature and aquatic macroinvertebrates using the same tools scientists use. Campers will also spend time learning about pollution and watersheds using an Enviroscape. We’ll go on nature hikes and a wetland stroll down Lee State Park’s boardwalk to learn what wetlands are and why they are important. We’ll also get to make a few eco-crafts to take home as souvenirs!
