There's mischief brewing in Lake Greenwood... Don't be scared, it's just us. So, come out and play at the park this Halloween! Halloween will start early at Lake Greenwood State Park. We'll start on Friday night with "Halloween Bonfire, Stories, and S'mores" from 7pm-9pm. Bring your favorite ghost story or funny story and be ready to be the star! Since we can't imagine a bonfire without S'mores, we'll have the ingredients ready for you to enjoy. We'll be there from 7-9pm.
On Saturday morning, from 10am-noon, we'll have a carnival-style Halloween party for the family. Activities will include a pumpkin roll, ghost bowling, slime time, reach-in, and a jack-o'-lantern bean bag trivia toss. We'll be set up in the Recreation Building in Campground 1. Enjoy tricks, treats, chills, and thrills!
Trick-or-treat in the campgrounds from 5pm-8pm. This activity is for children 12 and under and they must be in costume. Admission fee for adults ($2/adult) applies.
We'll end the event with the "Creepiest Campsite" contest awards at 4pm. Campers can enter the contest and win 2 free nights of camping at Lake Greenwood State Park. Park visitors will get to enjoy the decorations as you walk or drive through the campgrounds. Park admission applies.
