Designed for those with a keen interest in nature, Hunting Island's Adult Nature Series offers an entertaining and educational way to become acquainted with the natural resources of our beautiful state. Barrier Island Ecology will introduce participants to the diverse habitats of a barrier island and the creatures that inhabit each area. As we travel through each habitat on this 1 1/2 mile hike, we'll discover the dynamic nature of a barrier island and observe how it changes through time.
