Spectacular marsh views. Magnificent, century-old oaks, pines and blossoming magnolias. Dramatic white-sand "beach bunkers" that cascade down the water's edge. A unique feature of this world-class course is elevated greens and tees not usually found on the other Lowcountry courses. The par-71 course plays just 6,773 yards from the back tees, but demands accuracy and concentration. Best Hole: No. 17, a picturesque 518-yard par-5 with marsh on the right, a bunker running most of the left side of the fairway and on the second shot, a green hidden by extensive mounding.

Pine Forest Country Club is a classic Lowcountry golf course cut amongst pines, live oaks and dogwoods. Bob Spence designed the course with an equal representation of straight-ways, doglegs and elevation changes. The 6,905-yard course meanders through beautiful waterways while providing the golfer with a series of challenges that will bring out every club in the bag. Pine Forest also has six lighted clay tennis courts , a beautiful five-lane Junior Olympic swimming pool and a toddler pool.

Designed by George W. Cobb and built in 1963, generous fairways and a risk reward approach to the greens are two features of this be challenging course. The back nine is known for its scenic beauty and wonderful layout. As with any golf course, the scorecard has become a signature of the course as well as a trophy of a great game played.

Part of Sea Pines Resort and home to the prestigious Verizon Heritage each April, Harbour Town Golf Links is perennially ranked among the top golf courses in the world. Good scoring depends on finesse and shot making rather than strength. Well-placed tee shots and approaches are requisite to good scoring, and the well-protected greens are among the smallest of any tournament course in the country. Harbour Town's set of par-3s rank among the finest in the world, and its par-4 18th hole is one of the most feared in all of golf, particularly when the wind is blowing off Calibogue Sound. Pete Dye's crowning achievement as a golf course designer, the course is an innovative masterpiece and a favorite among tour pros.
