June through August on Friday mornings at 10 a.m., families will be led on a nature hike, looking for animals and their habitats in or near water. Part of the program will be spent in the creek using nets, so bring or wear water shoes! Some finds will be brought back to the lab for an up-close look under the park microscope, before being returned to their home. The program fee is $5.00 per person. Admission fee is waived. Registration required. To register, call the park office (864-244-5565), or email to ctaylor@scprt.com. All participants will receive a Stewardship Ranger card. Meet at picnic flats parking lot.
