Did you make a New Years resolution about getting fit, being healthy, losing weight, or just being more active? If so, WE will help you keep it, but YOU have to come out to Lake Warren State Park for "Tuesday Walk with a Ranger"! This weekly program will be offered every Tuesday in February and March at 5:30pm and will give folks a chance to walk in the woods with the ranger. This program is offered in conjunction with Eat Smart, Move More of Hampton County and the Biggest Loser Club of Estill, SC.
The walk will last about 30 minutes and cover 1.1 miles. The Discovery Trail is pretty flat and is considered an easy hike. Wear sturdy comfortable shoes or sneakers, bring your water bottle, and come on out for a nice walk in the woods.
Sorry pet owners, these are humans-only hikes! Keep an eye out for future pet friendly hikes at Lake Warren State Park, though.
