Beaufort Fall Festival of Houses and Gardens coming up

Beaufort Foundation will be showcasing some exceptionally beautiful
Lowcountry private homes, gardens and plantations that are not ordinarily open to the public Oct. 21-23.
The
Fall Festival of Houses and Gardens begins at noon Friday, Oct. 21, with a luncheon lecture on buying antiques for historic interiors by international antiques expert Judith Miller. This event, which will be held at Dataw Island Clubhouse, is $55.
The festival continues with three centuries of Beaufort architecture on display during tours through the city’s historic district on Friday afternoon, and among country estates and through the tabby ruins of Spring Island on Saturday, Oct. 22. Each of these three tours is $45 per person.
On Sunday afternoon, area chefs will be prepare regional specialties in kitchen on Lady’s Island, Newpoint and Coosaw Island. This event is $45.
