Free golf – really: Myrtle Beach National hosting Customer Appreciation Day Sept. 12

Posted 9/9/2012 9:44:00 AM

If you saw an advertisement or e-mail promising “Free golf: No strings attached,” you’d probably be curious, right? You’d probably check into it, wouldn’t you?

That’s what the folks at MyrtleBeachGolf.com figured, too.

So from now until they fill up all the available tee times – and “we’re getting really good response, both from locals and visitors,” says Myrtle Beach Golf’s Dorothy Miller – you can sign up to play Sept. 12 at the South Creek course at Myrtle Beach National. For free.

“Why? Because we want to thank you for being a loyal customer,” reads the Customer Appreciation Day e-mail. “Join us Wednesday, September 21, 2012 for a round on myrtlebeachgolf.com.”

If you’re anywhere near Myrtle Beach National that day – or maybe you should make a point to be? – this is a chance to enjoy one of Myrtle Beach National’s three courses (the others are Kings North and the West Course) designed by Arnold Palmer.

Did we mention it’s free?

To sign up for a tee time, call (888) 335-3164. Space, needless to say, is limited, and the offer excludes any previous reservations.

“Don’t wait, call now,” the advertisement reads. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.
