Sports-talk fans have made ESPN Radio’s “Mike & Mike in the Morning” one of the nation’s most popular radio shows with 11 million listeners on 130-plus stations weekly via ABC Radio Networks.

Now those fans can see their favorite on-air duo in person – all while taking in the 17th annual “Hootie & The Blowfish Monday After The Masters” Celebrity Pro-Am.

Hosts Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic will broadcast their four-hour show (6 a.m.-10 a.m.) on April 11 live from the Hootie event at Myrtle Beach’s Barefoot Resort’s Dye Club. The show also is televised nationally on ESPN2.

The Hootie Pro-Am, which benefits South Carolina junior golf and educational charities, each year features a lineup of PGA Tour players, Hollywood stars and musician friends of the band, who got their start in rock ‘n’ roll while students at the University of South Carolina.

Band members Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber and Jim “Soni” Sonefeld regularly take part in the event. Also participating in recent years have been professional golf stars such as John Daley, Fred Couples and South Carolina native Dustin Johnson. Tickets and information are available here.

If you’re looking for more than a brush with the stars, the tournament also is staging a national contest promotion which will select one winner and a guest for a spectacular “Mike & Mike” prize package. Included are travel to Myrtle Beach, a meet-and-greet with Greenberg and Golic, two Sunday pre-tournament practice rounds at the Dye Club, two player spots in the Pro-Am, VIP tickets to a “Hootie & Friends” concert Monday night at Myrtle Beach’s House of Blues and other gifts.
