Play four, get a round free: Myrtle Beach offers ‘South Beaches’ deal

If you’ve always wanted to play some of the great golf courses on Myrtle Beach’s South end – an area that Golf Digest recently rated as among the nation’s top 26 “buddies trip” destinations – then the Myrtle Beach National folks have the perfect deal for you.

Golfweek magazine is helping promote the “Southern Beach Package,” a special that allows players to enjoy four rounds of golf on any of seven select courses and receive a fifth round for free. Pricing for the five-round spring packages starts at $268.

And to sweeten the deal even more, players can sign up to get an additional free greens free to use on their next Myrtle Beach trip.

Where would you be playing? The lineup of courses includes three in the Litchfield collection – Willbrook Plantation, a Dan Maples design; the River Club, featuring two of the “100 Greatest Holes Along the Grand Strand” as rated by Golfweek; and Litchfield Country Club – plus the Tradition Club, rated S.C.’s 2001 “Golf Course of the Year,” Jack Nicklaus-designed Pawleys Plantation, Gary Player’s Blackmoor Golf Club and former LPGA tournament host Wachesaw Plantation East.
