Christmas savings: Myrtle Beach clubs host golf merchandise sale this weekend

If you can’t afford to give the golfer on your Christmas list a trip to Myrtle Beach to play, the next best thing might be merchandise from some of the Grand Strand’s top courses – especially when you can do so for up to 75 percent off the retail price tag.

This weekend (Dec. 1-2), National Golf Management, which oversees a number of area courses, will be offering merchandise and equipment for sale at both Myrtle Beach National Golf Club and Litchfield Country Club from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Discounts between 50-75 percent are available on apparel including course-logo golf shirts, outerwear and logo caps; selected clubs and golf bags will be 50-60 percent off, and a selection of shoes will go for 50 percent off.

While looking at discounted merchandise, golfers (and those who love them) also have a chance to be fitted free of charge for TaylorMade Golf’s new RocketBladez irons. To make an appointment for a complimentary fitting, call Myrtle Beach National at (843) 448-2300 or Litchfield Country Club at (843) 237-3411
