Take advantage of Foodie Fest to get special prices at some of Greenville’s finest restaurants.

The upstate's Foodie Fest starts Friday, Aug. 17, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 26. Sixteen restaurants will be offering deals such as three courses for $30, two courses for $20, or Buy 1, Get 1.

The restaurants are: American Grocery, Breakwater Restaurant & Bar, The Brown Street Club, Devereaux’s, Ford’s Oyster House and Cajun Kitchen, High Cotton, Liberty Tap Room and Grill, Mac’s Speed Shop, Nantucket Seafood Grill, Nose Dive, Overlook Grill, Rick Erwin’s West End Grille, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Soby’s New South Cuisine, The Green Room and The Lazy Goat. 

When you go to the website, you can click on the restaurant and then on Foodie Fest 2012 to see what special the restaurant is offering.

Here’s an example: Nantucket’s is offering three courses for $30, beginning with your choice of a baby spinach and brie salad or New England clam chowder. Entree choices are pecan-crusted trout, Canadian grilled salmon, chicken piccata or pesto-crusted haddock. For dessert, choose from bourbon crème brulee, key lime pie or Baileys toffee silk pie.
