is three months away, and tickets for the Greenville
food, wine and music festival are on sale.
The popular Songwriter’s Recipe, Taste of the South, guest chef dinners and Sunday Supper are still on, but some new events and changes to the music line-up are planned.
Among the new events are:
Swine and Dine
, a whole-hog roast in NOMA Square
sponsored by Roost
. Noma Square is on North Main at the recently renovated Hyatt Regency Hotel
. Along with food from Roost, there will be craft beer from Sierra Nevada, craft spirits from Six & Twenty Distillery
of Piedmont and music by the Piedmont Boys
Traffic Jam will be an evening of food truck cuisine from 2 Fat 2 Fly
of Columbia, and Asada Restaurant
and The Chocolate Moore
of Greenville. Beverages from a number of vendors, including Dark Corner Distillery
and Thomas Creek Brewery
, both of Greenville
, will be served, and Seven Handle Circus will perform.
Songwriters Kim Carnes, Tim Nichols, Bob DiPiero, Josh Leo and The Adam Craig Band will talk about and perform their music at the Songwriter’s Recipe and Taste of the South. Musician Edwin McCain
, co-founder of Euphoria, has been a regular at the festival, but he stepped down
as a board member of the organization that sponsors the festival to focus on his work, his family and other commitments.
