.
Does your child love to dress like a pirate? Talk like one, too?
No need to wait for Halloween to dress up.
The
Children's Museum of the Upstate in
Greenville (one of our favorite places to visit in the state), is holding Pirate Night from 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30.
The museum asks kids to wear their best pirate costume and "be prepared for an outrageous evening of pirate fun."
We've found the museum is good at delivering what it promises.
Pre-registration is required (the deadline is Sept. 29), so
click here or call (864) 233-7755. Tickets are $10 per person (that includes after-hours museum admission, activities and a special desert.)
And while we're thinking about children's museums, make plans to head to
EdVenture in
Columbia during October, when Spooky Science will get your kids in the Halloween spirit.
Kids get a chance to make their own oozing, bubbling and slimy mixtures every weekend during the month from 2-4 p.m.
