Join in the singing with the Greenville Chorale at Furman University

Back in 1961, when the Rotary Club of Greenville organized the “Rotary Civic Chorale,” I wonder if club members had any idea that in 2013 their little project would become one of the most acclaimed groups of its kind in South Carolina. Since then, the civic vocal group has grown from 45 to more than 200 singers who perform symphonic choruses throughout the year.

This weekend, what is now known as The Greenville Chorale will share the stage with special guests, the Seneca High School Honors Chorus, for “Christmas With The Chorale.” The festive event will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at Furman University’s McAlister Auditorium, featuring traditional carol arrangements — with the help of the audience. This is a perfect way to enjoy the essence of Greenville’s bubbling holiday spirit while visiting the area.

Tickets for this festive event cost $30 for adults, $15 for students. For more information and to reserve your seat, click here.
